Wild Camp! Amazing Apuan Alps

Two days in a tent in the Apuan Alps, among wild valleys, romantic sunsets and starry skies!

An emotional journey, a powerful adventure in the Apuan Alps Park to be experienced step by step, with a backpack on your back and a tent behind, for an exciting backpacking.
We’ll walk on paths that will lead us in front of the majestic north face of Pizzo d’Uccello, and then up to the splendid Foce di Giovo from where we will admire Mount Sagro, which protects the Vinca valley.
We’ll descend through ancient paths of shepherds and pilgrims and we will reach the Capanna Garnerone, where we’ll pitch our tents for the night that awaits us.
When night falls we will head towards a magical place, namely Foce Rasori, to admire the starry sky from one of the most mystical and wild places in the Apuan Alps.
The second day, after a good breakfast and after putting away the tents, we start with the steep climb up to the Finestra del Grondilice, at 1750 m, the forerunner of the mountain of the same name, completely white from the marble of which it is composed, severe and beautiful.
We then return to the Orto di Donna valley to reach the foot of Mount Pisanino, which with the beauty of 1947 m is the highest peak in the Apuan Alps. From here we begin the descent and leave behind a magnificent adventure!

Arrival at about 5.00 pm at the place of overnight stay

Wake up, breakfast and tents disassembly

Return to the cars scheduled for around 4.30 pm

Layered hiking clothing
Spacious backpack (at least 40 liters)
Mountain shoes
Needed for lunch, dinner, breakfast, snacks
Rain / windproof jacket
Water (3lt)
Trekking poles
Sleeping bag (comfort temperature approx. 5 degrees)
Curtain
Front lamp
At least a change of clothes
Warm clothing for the night
